Breaker Breaker: Reinventing Inspiration

Breaker Breaker: Reinventing Inspiration Hygienic Art Galleries 2006
An exploration of ignorance, education and need for individual awareness and responsibility.

The works “The end of ignorant assumption 1 and 2” are a multi layered study of violence and war. It starts January 8, 2005 with an endless stack of prints at MOMA by Feliz Gonzalez-Torres (American, born Cuba 1957-1996) “Untitled” (Death By Gun) 1990. A list of 460 names of individuals killed by a gun in the week of May 1-7, 1989. Later I used the prints for target shooting practice and then continued to build from there.

Original Gonzalez Torres Prints with painted targets for shooting practice. No longer.
